Parity ovoviviparous 
Description Has larger scales in lateral rows along its flanks, smaller overlapping gular lobes. The dorsal crest consists of large compressed tubercles down through the tail in males. There is also an irregular stripe running laterally on the body. Colors displayed are brown, olive, yellowish white.
