Parity ovoviviparous
Description This species has lateral rows of larger scales on its flanks and a cranial crest. The casque is not narrowed and the dorsal crest is continuous. It also displays large overlapping scaled gular lobes. Colors shown are gray and brown, and displaying males show blue-black with bright rust stripes.
